Metrocenter Scholarship
Metrocenter kicked off the Metrocenter Scholarship this spring. A total of ten $1,000 scholarships were awarded to students in the Glendale Union High School District who embody an exceptional balance in their lives between academia, leadership, work, family commitments and community service.

Westcor Kids Club
Westcor Kids Club is a fun interactive program that encourages children to read while have fun and socializing! Each week Persephone, Kids Club Master of Ceremonies, along with Webster, our Kids Club mascot, perform by singing songs, dancing and showing members how much fun reading can be. Westcor’s Kids Club is an exciting program for you and your children! Membership is free and all we ask is that you and your children come and spend an hour together learning, laughing and enjoy!

Westcor Kids Club is held every second Wednesday of the month at 10a.m. inside entrance 5, near the south end of the mall.

Fresh Start Women’s Foundation
Westcor is proud to unite our centers and retail partners in a long-term partnership with the Fresh Start Women’s Foundation. Fresh Start Women’s Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women save themselves. For more information regarding Fresh Start, please visit www.wehelpwomen.com.

Metrocenter’s Mall Walking Program
Metrocenter opens all mall doors at 7:00 a.m. Monday - Saturday, and 9 a.m. on Sunday for those who wish to walk the center as part of their daily exercise routine. The Upper Level is 8/10 of a mile and the Lower Level is 6/10 of a mile.

United Blood Services Donation Partnership
In partnership with United Blood Services, Metrocenter hosts several blood drives throughout the year to ensure an adequate amount of blood is available to those in need. Please check with Guest Services for dates and locations.

Palo Verde Middle School
The Metrocenter Team spends time out in the community, volunteering at the neighboring Palo Verde Middle School. Some employees help out by volunteering in the school’s Mentorship Program, while others assist with administrative duties.

City of Phoenix, Neighborhood Services
Metrocenter employees reach out to their community by being trained on graffiti removal through Neighborhood Services Graffiti Removal training program. The trained group from the Metrocenter Team plans to help clean up its backyard with their skills!

Contribution Requests
Each year, Metrocenter will contribute a preset amount of funds in the form of Westcor Gift Cards, merchandise and use of property to a diverse group of organizations. Hundreds of requests are anticipated each year. Donation recipients may include civil organizations’ educational programs; food banks; foundations; hosptials and healthcare organizations; youth programs; performing arts and museums; and many more. Each request is reviewed carefully. However, not all requests can be granted. Please submit your request to:
