Fresh Start Foundation Book Drive April 22-24th.

Westcor is proud to unite our centers and retail partners in a long-term partnership with the Fresh Start Women's Foundation. Fresh Start Women's Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women help themselves.

The foundation provides services that address the unmet needs of women who are struggling to achieve self-sufficiency due to one of eight D's: death, divorce, disability, drugs, domestic violence, desertion, disease or downsizing. Fresh Start also offers financial assistance to agencies dedicated to serving women.

Westcor's goals and resources mesh ideally with the mission of the Fresh Start Women's Foundation. At the heart of this commitment is our sponsorship of the Self-Esteem Room at the Jewell McFarland Lewis Fresh Start Women's Resource Center. This haven for women is designed to build self-esteem through a series of seminars that teach them how to improve their lives, with workshops ranging from personal grooming to social etiquette. In addition, women have the opportunity to obtain personal care products, salon services and wardrobe items at little or no cost based on their needs.
