When it comes to training our most precious resource, our children, teachers throughout the nation are personally spending an average of $458 annually for classroom supplies. Teachers Supply Closet, an impactful program designed by The Macerich Company’s shopping centers nationwide, is empowering the public to make a difference in our country’s future.
Launching in May 2005 during National Teacher Appreciation Week, Teachers Supply Closet will provide a variety of year-round opportunities to support Teachers, ultimately lessening their personal financial burden in purchasing classroom supplies.
United Blood Services Donation Partnership
In partnership with United Blood Services, Metrocenter hosts several blood drives throughout the year to ensure an adequate amount of blood is available to those in need. Please check with Guest Services for dates and locations.
Mall Walking Program
Metrocenter opens all mall doors at 7:00 a.m. Monday - Saturday, and 9 a.m. on Sunday for those who wish to walk the center as part of their daily exercise routine. The Upper Level is 8/10 of a mile and the Lower Level is 6/10 of a mile.
