Journeys is hosting the biggest BBQ bash ever!
Pro Skate Demos, Bands and Freestyle Motocross Exhibitions…and it’s all going down right in your backyard! Be sure to mark your calendars and let all your peeps know what’s up. But the best part about this event is that it is all FREE - no dinero! Plus, we are giving away a ton of freebies from all the sponsors so you have no reason to lag. Smell that? Something is cooking over at the BBQ.
The Vans Skate Team will be in town shredding the Red Bull vert ramp and they pulled out all the big guns for this one. Be sure to show up early to see X-Games Gold Medalist Bucky Lasek, Mike Frazier, Omar Hassan, young gun Rob Lorifice and super shredder Cara Beth Burnside. Legendary skater Steve Caballero, and the one and only Christian Hosoi will be on hand to make your head spin.
There will be tons of Vans product giveaways and limited edition Journeys Backyard BBQ swag. You will also have a chance to meet the skaters and get some autographs.
The Freestyle Motocross demos will be off the hook as Todd Potter, Chuck Carothers and Jonny Ebenal blast huge air on their hooptys. All of these guys have a big bag…of tricks that is. Freestyle Moto is insane. If you have never seen it live, do not pass up your opportunity at the Journeys Backyard BBQ.
